Annual Carport Sale
The Four Lakes Golf Club Veterans Organization once again hosted its much anticipated Annual Carport Sale, complete with a white elephant and bake sale in the clubhouse! This two-day event, held on Friday (for residents only) and Saturday was a huge success, drawing residents and the public alike to shop, eat, and support a great cause. Each year, this event helps raise funds to support veterans, and 2025 was no exception. The sale featured an impressive variety of items, from household goods and clothing to unique treasures. Inside the clubhouse, a table was lined with delicious baked goods for purchase, all lovingly prepared by volunteers and supporters.
The residents who chose not to have a sale in their carport, were able to donate items to be featured and sold in the clubhouse which proceeds went directly to the veteran’s organization making a record breaking year. Outside, the aroma of freshly grilled hot dogs and brats filled the air as volunteers worked hard to provide a tasty treat for hungry shoppers. The combination of great deals, friendly faces, and good food made for a wonderful experience for all who attended.
A huge “thank you” goes out to the dedicated volunteers who helped make this event a success! From guiding traffic to assisting with organizing the sales, their hard work ensured everything ran smoothly. Friday’s sale was exclusively open to Four Lake residents, giving them the first opportunity to browse and buy. Then, on Saturday, the sale opened to the public, drawing an even larger crowd.
The Annual Carport Sale has become a beloved tradition, bringing together neighbors and visitors to support veterans while enjoying a fun shopping experience with great deals. The overwhelming turnout and positive feedback from this year prove that it will remain a community favorite for years to come.
